I still don’t understand dry cleaning?

Have you ever felt our of place among a group of your peers who all seem to have an incredibly bizarre habit that you don’t share?  I see people walking around with dry-cleaned clothes all the time, but I’m still a little confused on the concept.  I’ve honestly never paid to have my business casual style clothes dry-cleaned and I don’t plan on it (exception: Suits and Tuxes).

Costume economics

I spent this weekend hanging out with some of my favorite people in the world.  After cooking some amazing meals together, playing some rousing rounds of charades, and tromping through a pumpkin patch to find just the right jack-o-lantern, we ended the day evaluating the costumes of hundreds of dressed-up 20 somethings.

Growing your skillset by volunteering!

When I meet people who seem to know how to fix just about anything, I am always impressed by the depth and breadth of their knowledge.  If you don’t work as a handy man, how do you learn the ins and outs of construction and repair?  Back in college, I stumbled upon a way to learn new skills that you can use your whole life, for free!  It’s called volunteering and it changed my life.
